Our 'Heirloom Cottage' Bearded Iris is a much beloved staple of our spring gardens. We look forward to welcoming this hardy perennial back each year. This stunning cultivar bloomed in the gardens of our great-grandparents' family cottage along the shores of the beautiful Sturgeon Lake.
This bearded iris has a delicate dusty mauve standard and a smooth violet fall, making this unique beauty a vibrant showpiece for any arrangement.
Each iris grows on long, strong stems with an incredible vase life of 7-10 days. Each stem has 3-6 buds, each taking their turn to bloom. If you remove faded flowers with clean snips or scissors, the buds will continue to bloom in your arrangement.
